A Street of Ice & Fire

 In Beaches, events, holidays

Fire & Ice returns! Delicious pots of chili and fantastical ice sculptures will once again decorate the streets of Qualicum Beach this year on Saturday, May 2.

We are excited to see what kind of culinary creations come together this year, as for the first time ever Fire & Ice is expanding the menu of their event, including ’hot’ menu items from local restaurants in addition to the chili tasting.

There’s also a theme for this year’s event, intended to inspire the ice carvers in their work: The Fairy Tale Life – Princesses & Villans!

May is a great time to visit Parksville Qualicum Beach, and when you’re not already busy hiking our many provincial parks or walking barefoot on our incredible beaches, it’s events like Fire & Ice that really bring the community together.

It’s one of our favourite times of year – we’d love it if you would come and join us! And if you just happen to bring your family along, well, we have room for them too 🙂
