Spring has sprung, and with it comes farmer’s market season! Not only are our farmer’s markets a great way to stock up on fresh produce and goods, but it’s an opportunity to participate in our community and support local businesses.

One of the most popular farmer’s markets to visit is the Qualicum Beach Farmer’s Market, open from 8:30 to noon every Saturday morning. March is just the beginning of farmer’s market season, but some popular in-season produce to shop for includes asparagus, broccoli, and a variety of fresh greens! As spring moves into summer, make sure to pick up delicious island-grown berries and stone fruits — you won’t be disappointed.
