Snorkel with Seals

Sundown Diving offers a year-round excursion that allows you to get up close and personal with some of the sea’s most playful creatures: Harbour seals!

This eco-adventure takes you to Snake Island in beautiful Nanaimo, BC where you will spend a couple hours snorkeling with seals. Over 250 Harbour seals call this area home, so you are guaranteed to have some close encounters with these adorable animals.

This will also give you a front row seat to the diverse marine environment found along the coast of Vancouver Island. You’ll likely see a wide variety of starfish, anemones, and crustaceans as you snorkel in some of the clearest ocean water in the world.

You don’t need snorkeling experience, but you must be able to swim and be comfortable in the water in order to participate. Sundown Diving will supply wetsuits and other gear. Participants must be over 12 years of age.
