Get Ready for Winter Fun

Mount Washington, just north of Parksville is set to open for the season on Friday, December 10th, meaning ski and snowboard season kicks off in just over a month! Opening day will be celebrated with a winter bash and banner breakthrough, with the first chair departing at 9 am and running until 3:30 pm.

At Ocean Trails we are just an hour away from Mount Washington, making it an easy day trip. Wake up on the beach, spend the day skiing in the mountains, and return for a relaxing evening in your home away from home. If you’re not one for skiing or snowboarding, other activities around the mountain include tubing, tobogganing, snowshoeing, and of course, hiking.
